Case Study: Improving Communication in U.S. Army
How a Tour Guide System Enhanced Communication In U.S. Army Facilities
The U.S. Army has relied on Plant-Tours.com for its translation communications systems for many years in military bases around the world. In many instances, they have a need for interpretation capabilities for multiple languages and audience types on bases in the U.S. and abroad.

WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM?
When an officer from Fort Bragg, NC, one of the largest military installations, contacted the Plant-Tours.com Consultant interested in purchasing a translation system for meetings with foreign partners. Their requirements included accommodating 60 people in a classroom setting with an interpreter translating the information delivered by presenters. They also needed the ability to divide the participants into 4 groups of 15 people each, so they also specified 4 transmitters and microphones for a multi-group format. Since the meetings take place in conference settings, no noise-reduction products are required.
WHAT WAS THE SOLUTION
The customer ordered four PT-5100 Premier System transmitters with the PT-5350 headsets for each of the presenters and interpreters. The PT-350 headphones were selected for all the participants. They fit comfortably behind the head and are ideal for low-noise areas. Since the Receivers and Transmitters are equipped with 15 channels, multiple translators can easily speak via their headset microphones to multiple individual groups with no frequency conflict.
What was the result
Three 20 Unit PT-2000 Charging cases were ordered for storage, charging, and easy portability to allow transport to multiple meeting locations for presentations and conferences.
