Vutex is a Tier One automotive components supplier to Japanese automotive manufacturers and produces many elements in the assembly process such as glass, bumpers, and doors. Vutex contacted Plant-Tours.com with an interest in a tour guide system that had headsets that would allow all tour participants questions and answerability throughout their visit to the plant.
What was the solution?
The customer requested Plant-Tours.com’s free Demo Kit so that they could compare all the options in the operation. The Demo Kit includes the 1-Way and 2-Way systems, which both allow the facilitation of Q&A. After their analysis of the Demo Kit, Vutex chose the 2-Way system including 15 headsets with microphones for every visitor on tour, saying that it was ideal and was “a must for their needs”. They chose the MT-425 single-side ear speaker with an in-line microphone and push-to-talk button. This ultra-light headset option features resting on-the-ear comfort for light to moderate noise environments and allows all participants to clearly hear all commentary from guides and guests. A simple pushbutton allows the user to speak or ask questions throughout the tour activity, which facilitates a completely interactive experience with the lightweight simplicity and convenience of the MT-700 Transceiver.

In addition to the San Antonio operations, Plant-Tours.com has furnished tour guide systems to several other of Vutex plants for all of their training and tour requirements.
