CASE STUDY
Progressive Processing is a large Hormel facility in Dubuque, Iowa that handles the production of pork, chicken and packaged meal products. The Plant Engineering Manager contacted the Plant-Tours.com Tour and Training Consultant to discuss his needs for a 2-Way Training System. The plant requires hard-hats and is a high noise environment so headsets with noise reduction abilities are needed.
After a review of the free Demo Kit which was sent to the plant, management selected the system and placed their order including five PT-950 Storage/Carry Cases. These cases provide extreme rugged durability for all contents and include a fully configurable foam interior to customize for all radios, headsets and accessories. Once placed in the case compartments, all contents are completely safe and fresh for every use.
Progressive Processing was interested in transportable cases to be able to move all components of their system to any area of the plant with ease. Since the plant required a full system for training staff, the portability of the system was critical and the PT-950 cases made the transport, set-up and outfitting fast and easy for the training activity.
