What was the problem?
The Manufacturing Excellence Manager at the Huber plant in Easton, Maine was interested in a tour guide system, so he called Plant-Tours.com. He had transferred to Easton from another Huber facility and liked the Plant-Tours.com system they used there and asked to test our free Demo Kit in his mill. What was the solution?
Once the customer and his staff thoroughly evaluated the Demo Kit, they chose the Premier 1-Way system with the PT-250 headphones for the visitors and the PT-5350 All-In-One Headset for the tour guides. Both products are exclusive and patented and provide very high noise reduction for the safety and comfort of the user. With a 24 NRR rating, the PT-250 allows all participants of the tours to be able to clearly hear the guides in clear and rich stereo sound so that the image of Huber Engineered Woods and their manufacturing processes are projected throughout the entire tour. Easily wipeable and cleanable with our patented Sanitation Station, the PT-250 and PT-5250 feature soft, vinyl ear pads and adjustable Velcro for quick and easy adjustment for every attendee. This model can be comfortably and safely worn in conjunction with Hard Hats and Bump Caps, as is required in the Huber mills.
What was the result?
Huber ordered a large system to accommodate 6 groups of visitors touring the facility concurrently. A group this size fits easily within the 15 channels available on the PT-1000 Receivers and PT-5100 Transmitters used by each guide.
